Dharapani Mandir- Pandavshowor mandir- tallest trident of nepal

If you are looking for a spiritual and cultural destination in Nepal, you might want to visit Dang Dharapani Temple. This temple is located in Dharna Dang, about 9 km south of Ghorahi, the capital of Lumbini province. Dang Dharapani Temple is also known as Pandavshowor Mandir, because it is believed that the five Pandavas from the Hindu epic Mahabharata rested and prayed here to Lord Shiva while they were on their way to Sworgadwari Temple.

Dang Dharapani Temple is famous for having the world's tallest and heaviest trident (trisul), which is a symbol of Lord Shiva. The trident was inaugurated on December 14, 2014, and it measures 42.5 feet in height and weighs 81 quintals and 13 kilos. It is made of five metals: iron, gold, brass, copper, and silver. The trident was designed by Indian stone carvers and cost almost 2 million Nepali rupees.

The temple complex also has other attractions, such as 108 banyan and peepal trees planted around the temple, a small pond in the shape of OM, a water dam for boating, and a black cobra snake that lives inside an old tree near the main temple. The snake is worshipped by the devotees as a guardian of the temple. The temple also hosts a five-day festival on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, when more than 100,000 people visit the temple.

Dang Dharapani Temple is a place where you can experience the rich culture and history of Nepal, as well as enjoy the natural beauty of the valley surrounded by the Churey Range and the Mahabharat Range. It is a place where you can feel the divine presence of Lord Shiva and his blessings. If you are planning to visit Nepal, don't miss this amazing destination.
